Havre Police Department

Several callers throughout the day Thursday reported a scam in which callers referred to warrants for arrest.

A 10:39 a.m. Thursday caller on Second Street reported a possible violation of a temporary restraining order.

--

Officers responded, along with an ambulance crew, to a vehicle crash on Third Street Thursday at 11:28 a.m.

--

A caller reported a non-injury vehicle crash at Fifth Avenue and 10th Street Thursday at 12:23 p.m.

--

Thursday at 2:26 p.m. someone brought in a purse left at a First Street business.

--

A caller on First Street West reported at 3:51 p.m. Thursday a man on a bike was hit by a car.

--

A caller at Optimist Park reported a bike was laying by the swing set Thursday at 4:17 p.m.

--

Joshua Kay Blatter of Havre, 28, was arrested at the police station Thursday at 8:05 p.m. on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation and on two Justice or City court warrants.

Sade Rochelle Stearns of Harlem, 21, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after a caller at a First Street business asked to speak with an officer about suspicious activity Thursday at 10:18 p.m.

--

A 12th Avenue caller asked to speak to an officer about vandalism at 12:17 a.m. today.

--

A 12th Avenue caller asked officers at 12:21 a.m. to check in on someone.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Kaleb Steven Dorenz of Havre, 22, was arrested on charges of partner of family member assault, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, traffic crime and violation of conditions of release and Kristina Lynn Ralston of Havre, 21, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of conditions of release, after a Seventh Street East caller reported a domestic disturbance Thursday at 9:43 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Thursday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one Himalayan, one long-hair and seven medium-hair cats and a short-hair 26-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, a male and a female 9-month-old short-hair kittens, a male medium-hair 6-week-old kitten, a female medium-hair cat, a male 18-week-old medium-hair kitten and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kitten.

The shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a male shepherd 21-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a male border collie-Chihuahua 16-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd dog, as well as four puppies: three male mixed-breed 8-week-old puppies and a male pit bull terrier cross 8-week-old puppy.
