Havre Police Department

Christopher Paul Hammond of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of partner or family member assault and a violation of a no contact order after being transported Monday at 7:17 a.m. from a Highway 2 business.

Monday at 8:41 a.m. a Boulevard Avenue caller asked to speak with an officer about a juvenile.

A caller reported Monday at 10:42 a.m. a two vehicle crash at First Avenue and Second Street between a Chevrolet Sonic and a Dodge Dakota with unknown injuries.

Winston Curley Stewart of Harlem, 33, was arrested at the police station Monday at 11:23 a.m. on a charge of criminal contempt related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

A caller from a First Street business reported a stolen wallet Monday at 11:57 a.m.

--

Monday at 1:27 p.m. a First Avenue caller reported a vehicle crash with no injuries between a Ford Edge an a Maroon Jeep.

Two arrests were made after a Third Street caller reported a male assaulting a female Monday at 5:31 p.m. No further information was provided on the charges.

--

Raymond William Campbell of Havre, 22, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. today on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer spotted him on First Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Christopher Paul Hammond of Havre, 20, was arrested Monday at 8:03 a.m. on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs after deputies discovered the items at the Hill County Detention Center.

A Sixth Street North caller reported suspicious activity Monday at 11:13 a.m.

A man on Highway 2 East Monday at 2:04 p.m. called dispatch. The narrative says the man was yelling that a car was circling him. No other information was given, and deputies searched for the man but were unable to locate him.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Monday.

Firefighters responded Monday at 8:23 a.m. to a report of a power pole that was damaged on the 1600 Block of 11th Street West. Crews secured the scene until NorthWestern Energy could repair the pole.

Firefighters responded Monday at 11:05 p.m. to an alarm that had gone off on the 1200 Block of First Avenue. No smoke or fire was detected when crews arrived and the system was reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held an 8-month-old male short-hair kitten, a female 11-week-old medium-hair kitten, a female medium-hair cat, two 17-week-old male medium-hair kittens, a male short-hair cat and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kitten.

The shelter this morning also held a male German shepherd, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd cross, a 9-month-old female terrier, a 8-month-old female mixed-breed, a 10-month-old female mixed-breed, a 10-month-old female mountain cur and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd cross, along with seven puppies not yet available for adoption: five male and one female 6-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a 6-week-old male pit bull terrier cross.
