Havre Police Department

Joshua Kay Blatter of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt, during a vehicle stop on 18th Avenue Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. The charge was related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported at 8:01 a.m.

A caller reported Tuesday at 3:29 p.m. a vehicle crash with injuries on 11th Street West.

A caller reported Tuesday at 6:50 p.m. finding an extra rifle in his case after coming home from the shooting range.

Michael George Parker Jr. of Box Elder, 40, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a First Street business reported a shoplifter had run away on foot on Second Street Tuesday at 10:26 p.m.

Brauk Irvin Wood of Havre, 21, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal contempt after a caller at a Sixth Street residence reported a marijuana smell Tuesday at 10:54 p.m.

Crystal Dawn Moreno of Box Elder, 38, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants at a Fist Street business Tuesday at 11:06 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tuesday at 12:07 p.m. house on Sixth Street North was reported broken into.

James Allen Dominick of Havre, 46, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants served on 17th Street West Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

An arrest was made during a vehicle stop at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 87 but no details were provided on the charges.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm activation reported on the 10 Block of Pike Street at 4:40 this morning. A belt had overheated in the furnace and smoked up the air in the house, so the furnace was turned off until a repair could be made.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held an 8-month-old male domestic short-hair kitten, a female 10-week-old medium-hair kittens, a 2-year-1-month-old female medium-hair cat, two 16-week-old male medium-hair kittens, a 2-year-old male short-hair cat and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kiten..

The shelter this morning also held five male and one female 6-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a 6-week-old male pit bull terrier cross puppy, one male and one female 16-week-old German shepherd-Rottweiler cross puppies, a male 1-year-7-month-old German shepherd, a female 2-year-2-month-old pit bull-terrier-German shepherd cross dog, a male 2-year-1-month-old Pekingese-Dachshund cross dog, a female 8-month-old terrier puppy, a 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a 9-month-old female mixed-breed puppy and a 1-year-11-month-old female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd cross dog.
