The Friends of the Library started their annual book sale, which funds many events at the Havre-Hill County Library, Wednesday, one of precursors to Festival Days events that get underway in full swing today.
The Montana State University-Northern Office of Diversity Awareness and Multicultural Programs started a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month Monday with a display of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo Monday, and tonight is holding its annual Festival of Nations. The Steve Heil Memorial Car Show is set for tonight, and other events like the 48-hour Softball Tournament, the H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum summer speaker Jim Magera's presentation, the annual quilt show, the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line's open house and barbecues, the Eagles Club barbecue and many other events are also set to start today.
The events continue through the weekend, including the main event, Saturday's Festival Days parade down Fifth Avenue.
