The tour alternates locations around the state and attracts Angus breeders from across the U.S. and into Canada. It kicked-off Tuesday at Peterson Grain and Cattle, owned by Kim and Nola Peterson and family, and will show participants registered black Angus cattle from ranches in Havre and Hingham to Chinook, the Bear Paw Mountains, Turner and Malta by noon today. Allen Moczygemba, CEO of American Angus Association, said Montana consistently has the highest number of registered black Angus in the country.
