Havre Police Department

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from a First Street location at 7:21 a.m. Tuesday complained about a woman causing a disturbance by yelling at her children.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after an owner of a U.S. Highway 2 East business asked at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday for officers to check and see if juveniles were on the property.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

After a caller from a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday that a person with a warrant out for their arrest was at the business, deputies arrested Randy Jay Chandler of Rocky Boy, 31, on a Justice or City court warrant.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a call on the 600 Block of Sixth Street West at 6:07 a.m. Tuesday. The issue was smoke from an oven caused by burning food and no action was required.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two male and four female 9-week-old medium-hair kittens, one 1-year-old, female long-hair cat and one 2-year-1-month-old female medium-hair cat.

The shelter this morning also held five male and one female 5-week-old mixed-breed puppies, one female 9-week-old terrier, one male and one female 15-week-old German shepherd-Rottweiler mixed-breed dogs, one male 1-year-7-month-old German shepherd, one female 2-year-2-month-old pit bull-terrier-German shepherd mixed-breed dog, one male 2-year-1-month-old Pekingese-Dachshund mixed-breed dog, one female 8-month-old terrier, on male 22-week-old mixed-breed dog, one female 21-week-old mixed-breed dog, and one 7-month-old mixed-breed dog.
