Ag students bring golf scramble again to Festival Days

Local agricultural students are bringing people the opportunity to shoot some golf and support the ag students club for the second year during Festival Days.

Montana State University-Northern Professional Agricultural Students Club will hold its Second Annual Golf Scramble during Festival Days.

The event raises money to help send students to the National PAS conference, this year in Colorado.

The event will be at the Beaver Creek Golf Course Saturday, Sept. 22, with the calcutta starting at 7:30 a.m. and out on the course with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will also be provided at the event.

People who want to participate in the tournament have to register by Sept. 20. Teams will be groups of four and it costs $250 to register a team.

The calcutta will give an opportunity for people to bid on a team. The winning bid will also receive a cut of the total calcutta collection.

A Yeti Cooler will be a prize in addition to other awards and prizes this year. The Yeti Cooler will be sponsored by Golden Harvest Feeds out of Big Sandy.
