Hannah Haslem, Havre High X-Country

Hannah Haslem is new to the Havre High cross country team, and new to Class A cross country, having come from Colstrip. But, she made herself right at home last Friday when she finished in the 32nd place overall at the Cut Bank Time Trials. The meet, which kicks off Havre’s season every year, features Class AA GFH and CMR, as well as many top area Class A and B teams. Haslem finished the race in 23:14, and was HHS’ top finisher.

Caleb Chambliss, Havre High Golf

When you’re a young golfer, things are rarely easy, but Havre High sophomore Caleb Chambliss is making his golf season look a little easier than it probably is. Chambliss recently won the Belgrade Invitational in Bozeman. At Riverside Country Club, Chambliss shot a career-best 78, which put him in first place. Chambliss also captured first-place honors at Tuesday's Fergus Invitational in Lewistown, after shooting a solid round of 90.
