Obituary - Terry Donald McIntosh

Terry Donald McIntosh, 63, passed away on Saturday Aug. 25th, 2018, at his home in Dutton, MT, of a heart attack.

A memorial service-celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Dutton, MT, Friday, September 7th, 2018, at 2 p.m.

Terry was born April 9th, 1955, in Havre Montana. Terry attended school from first through 12th grade in Dutton, MT. Terry then went on to trade school in Missoula, Montana. He briefly opened a small engine repair shop in Dutton before going to work for John Deere Implement in Choteau, later moving to Conrad. Terry currently worked for Front Line Ag Solutions in Conrad.

Terry was a master technician and had earned the prestigious award from John Deere for his outstanding skills and work ethic. Terry had 40 years in the service industry with John Deere dealerships in the Choteau and Conrad area. Terry learned his strong work ethic from his uncles and various farmers he had the pleasure of working with. Even though Terry worked with his hands for a living he was a very kind, gentle and patient man. Terry had a great love for all things John Deere and collecting Hallmark Christmas ornaments. He also had a love for travel and a great interest in all aspects of aviation.

He is preceded in passing by his father, James Donald McIntosh, and his grandparents.

Terry leaves behind his mother, Betty Ost of Spokane Washington, a brother, Larry (Christy) McIntosh, niece Hilary (Charlie) and new great-niece Alice Irene Stevener, nephew Scott (Nicole) McIntosh, all of Texas, a long-time significant other, Denise Smith, and the extended family he gained with that union, including aunts, uncles, nieces and their families.
