Havre Police Department

A parent asked to speak to an officer Tuesday at 11:49 a.m. about threats her child made at school.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 7:16 p.m. Tuesday that suspicious items were found in a previous customer's room.

Michael Jeffrey Thompson of Havre, 29, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving, failing to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest, assault on a peace or judicial officer and failing to give notice of an accident, after a caller reported a hit and run crash at Fourth Street and Second Avenue at 1:31 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Hingham caller at First Street and First Avenue reported Tuesday at 12:01 p.m. that someone had driven over their auger.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 near Kremlin reported at 12:20 Tuesday a bicyclist was hit on the roadway. The cyclist was reported to be bleeding but conscious and responsive.

Marissa Lea Gardipee of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a Tuesday 7:42 p.m. transport from Rocky Boy Police Department to Hill County Detention Center.

Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Tuesday and one call this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held one medium-hair cat and six medium-hair kittens with gender listed as "unknown," one medium-hair female cat and one short-hair female cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 1-year-6-month-old male German shepherd, a 2-year-1-month-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, two 8-week-old female German shepherd crosses, a female 6-month-old Rottweiler-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, an 8-week-old female German shepherd-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross and a 1-year-10-month-old female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd cross. The shelter also had five 12-week-old Rottweiler-shepherd cross puppies.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, to Altair Anderson and Ryan Gardipee of Box Elder.
