Dakota Rose Greshock was resentenced in state District Court in Havre for “driving crazy” in a high-speed chase in 2014 that led four agencies across Havre.
The court imposed a three-year deferred imposition of sentence on Greshock in 2016 after she pleaded guilty to leading Havre police officers, Hill County sheriffs deputies, Montana Highway Patrol troopers and a Fish, Wildlife and Parks game warden in a chase around Havre after a passenger in the car called law enforcement to say Greshock was “driving crazy.”
If Greshock had abided by the conditions of release, at the end of the deferred imposition she could have requested the charge be struck from her record.
The Hill County Attorney’s office filed a petition to revoke the deferred imposition in March. In April, Greshock admitted to violating conditions of her release including drinking and taking drugs.
The court revoked the deferred imposition and resentenced her to four years with the state Department of Corrections with credit for 324 days served and recommended she be placed in a treatment program.
