Obituary - Gregory Scott Werk

HAYS — Gregory Scott Werk 56, passed away Friday August 24, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.

Wake services were 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018, at St. Paul’s Mission Rec Center. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Mission Rec Center in Hays, MT, with interment to follow at The Werk Family Cemetery.

Gregory was born on March 14, 1962, in the Ft. Belknap Hospital to Robert R. Werk and Monica (Lamebull) Werk both deceased. He was in the National Guard and was stationed in Fort Kentucky. He had an honorable discharge in 1984 as PFC Gregory S. Werk, 1603 3rd Armored Calvary Position at Chinook MT.

Greg married Shannon Fox in 1979 and later divorced, they had six children together, Michael Scott, twins Joshua Robert and Jordon Steven, Randall Collins, Cameron C. and Stevie Rose.

He later met Geri Main the love of his life and soulmate and together had two sons, Chance and Gary David Werk.

His survivors include his wife Geri; sons Randy (Alicia), Cameron (Gerri), Chance, and Gary Hoot Werk and daughter Stevie Rose Werk; grandchildren, Randall, Gabriel, Alexandra, Sarah, twins Celia and James, Toki, Elizabeth, Brailey, Rylee, Lea, Kenzee and Emitt; his brothers and sisters Phyllis Sells, Robert (Roberta) Werk, Andrew (Darlene) Werk, Wilma Werk, Beverly Werk, Milton (Frances) Werk, Dean (Cheryl) Werk, Neil (Nanette) Werk, Wanda Werk, Charles “Chuck” ( Denise) Werk, Bill (Daralyn), Clint Werk and Jeanette Falls Down; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Monica Werk, grandparents Andrew and Cecilia (Hawley) Lamebull, and Robert A. and Isabel (Gardipee) Werk, and his children Joshua, Jordon and Michael Werk.
