Spay/neuter clinic set for local cats

Kitty Keepers and Eastside Animal Hospital is holding a spay and neuter clinic for local cats Oct. 12-13 at Kitty Keepers, 1117 26th Ave. W.

This clinic is for low-income owners. Feral and stray cats are especially welcome.

Applications are required for appointments. For applications, call 301-4085 or pick one up at Eastside Animal Hospital at 3773 U.S. Highway 2 NE. No walk-ins or vaccine-only appointments will be taken.

Rabies and distemper vaccines are $15 each, and ear cleaning is free. Cost per cat is based on a sliding fee scale. Check-in is at 8 a.m., owners will be called when cats are ready for pick up. All cats must come in crates or carriers labeled with the owner’s name.
