The Montana Playwrights Network announces a writer’s workshop open to the public: “Do It Write!” presented by Pamela Jamruszka Mencher. This inspiring and practical workshop for beginning & experienced writers will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. in the FLEX Theatre at Carroll College in the Campus Center, downstairs. Don’t delay in signing up for this workshop, as space is limited.
Mencher writes plays, monologues, acting textbooks, stories and poetry. Her plays have been produced nationwide, and most recently in Bozeman. Her latest book, “Acting Skills for Life and Work” was published by Octamerous Press in 2015. She resides in Montana City with husband, Jordan, and travels the state presenting workshops and special events for the Montana Playwrights Network highlighting playwriting, storytelling, creative writing and story theory as it applies to health, business and community cultures.

The Montana Playwrights Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in Montana. MPN was formed to provide a forum focusing on story as expressed through a variety of formats, including but not limited to playwriting, storytelling, poetry, history, non-fiction, essays, memoirs and interpersonal communication. The network is looking to connect with writers, storytellers, teachers, theater companies, libraries, book clubs and businesses that are interested in story as integral to company cultures.
