Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday, and firefighters responded to a report of a gas smell on the 1000 Block of Washington Ave, but no gas odor was detected in the area.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the shelter held one long-hair cat, four medium-hair cats, one short-hair cat and seven kittens with gender listed as "unknown," one medium-hair male cat, one female medium-hair cat and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 1-year-6-month-old male German shepherd, a 2-year-1 month-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, one female 6-month-old Rottweiler-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, a 1-year-old male border collie and a 1-year-10-month-old female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd cross. The shelter also has five 11-week old Rottweiler-Shepherd cross puppies.
