The Havre Public School district is ramping up to start classes next week, with registration this week and athletics already underway, but it is the last of the local districts to get started. Hays-Lodge Pole schools started Aug. 16; North Star schools in Rudyard and Gildford started Monday; Big Sandy schools start today, and St. Jude Thaddeus in Havre, Chester-Joplin-Inverness, Chinook, Harlem, Rocky Boy and Turner schools all start Wednesday.
