St. Jude Thaddeus Parish is brimming with curb appeal as you drive by the church on Fourth Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues.
Father Daniel Wathen is the pastor officiating over the church along with Deacon Tim Maroney.
The delphiniums were planted by Debi Rhines honoring Ambrose Purkett. Debi transplanted the iris's from the old rectory and also planted the pocintellas. Linda Gobin planted and fertilized the marigolds and petunias. Some of the ground cover are succulents.
The geraniums are planted in memory of the nuns by the Catholic Daughters. The grotto surrounding the Virgin Mary was built by a parish family.
Volunteers for the flower garden are Linda Gobin and Margaret Hencz. Kathy and Bob Doney from Bob's Greenhouse donate the beautiful flowers.
