Havre Police Department

A First Avenue Northeast caller reported Friday at 12:04 p.m. someone tried to break into her car and they broke her window.

Eric Lee Ambler of Havre, 42, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, violations of conditions of release, operating a vehicle without valid registration and no motorcycle endorsement, after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on 17th Street Friday at 1:48 p.m.

A two-vehicle, noninjury crash was reported on First Street West Friday at 1:54 p.m.

--

A caller reported Friday at 5:52 p.m. a stolen bike on First Street.

Raven Ray Wolfgang Lanier of Havre, 20, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of disorderly conduct with physical contact after he called to report an assault Friday at 7:33 p.m.

Kyle Glen Delaurier of Havre, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on Second Street Friday at 9:57 p.m.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 11:31 a.m. with a found cellphone.

Joshua Kay Blatter of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of stop sign violation during a vehicle stop on 10th Street Saturday at 8:49 p.m.

A caller on Boulevard Avenue reported Saturday at 11:40 p.m. someone had been hitting trash cans.

Linda Corena Gonyea of Havre, 53, was arrested Sunday at 7:37 a.m. at the police station on charges of criminal contempt and revocation of suspended or deferred sentence in relation to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Timothy Shawn Anderson of Havre, 28, was arrested at the police station at 7:54 a.m. Sunday on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

A 16th Avenue caller reported Sunday at 5:31 p.m. that keys were left in a 1995 blue Honda Civic and it was stolen sometime around noon.

--

A caller reported at 8 p.m. Sunday a bike with a luggage rack was stolen from Curve Drive.

--

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on charges of trespass to property and juvenile curfew violations after callers at a First Street organization reported at 12:10 a.m. today juveniles on the roof of the facility.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller on Clear Creek Road asked to speak Saturday at 2:50 p.m. with a deputy for a complaint.

A knife wound was reported at Northern Montana Hospital Sunday at 2:39 a.m. The victim told deputies investigating the assault that she didn't remember what happened.

Deputies investigated vandalism at the sheriff's office parking lot Sunday at 5:26 a.m.

--

Barbara Dianne Richardson of Big Sandy, 60, and a 16-year-old girl were each issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported shoplifters Sunday at 6:20 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, six Saturday, one Sunday and one this morning.

Firefighters responded to a 12:07 p.m. Sunday call on the 10 Block of Third Street West, which turned out to be a smoke detector malfunction.

Firefighters were called to the 1800 Block of Washington Avenue South at 5:16 p.m. Sunday for a grassfire, which burned about one-quarter acre of grass and sagebrush. No definitive cause for the fire was found, though it may have been fireworks, the remains of which were found laying next to the road.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held one medium-hair cat with gender listed as "unknown," one medium-hair male cat, one medium-hair female cat and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 1-year-6-month-old male German shepherd, a 2-year-1 month-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, an 8-year-4-month-old male Labrador retriever, one male and one female 6-month-old Rottweiler-Australian cattle dog-blue healer crosses, a 3-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever and a 1-year-9-month-old female Australian cattle dog-blue healer-German shepherd cross. The shelter also has five 10-week old Rottweiler-Shepherd cross puppies.

Births

A boy was born Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, to Dezerae and Cody Nagel of Havre.
