Havre Police Department

James Patrick Travis of Havre, 51, was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after a First Street business caller reported Thursday at 6:42 a.m. a man sleeping in the building.

Christopher Paul Hammond of Havre, 19, was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty and Michelle Nichole Healy of Havre, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on Third Street reported at 8:40 a.m. Thursday that a dog was locked inside a black sport utility vehicle.

Logan Moore of Havre, 37, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container after a caller on First Street West reported suspicious activity Thursday at 11 a.m.

Valerie Rose Knoll of Havre, 46, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at Second Street and 15th Avenue Thursday at 1:25 p.m.

A 17th Street West caller reported a stolen weed eater Thursday at 2:55 p.m.

Someone flagged down an officer at 3:20 p.m. Thursday on First Street to report a vehicle crash between a street sweeper and a truck.

A 10th Street West caller reported stolen bikes Thursday at 6:15 p.m.

Curtis Pete Onco III of Rocky Boy, 45, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and probation violation after a caller at Pepin Park caller reported a suspicious male Thursday at 9:46 p.m.

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street business reported stolen property Thursday at 11:54 p.m. No details on the arrest were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies initiated an investigation during a vehicle stop in the alley south of First Street Thursday at 1:23 p.m.

Deputies assisted another agency in the Hill County area Thursday at 2:59 p.m. No further details on the investigation were provided.

Geno Valdez Menard or Havre, 20, was issued a summons on a charge of theft after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Thursday at 3:09 p.m. an employee had taken money.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held one medium-hair male cat, two medium-hair female cats and two female short-hair cats.

The shelter also held this morning a 1-year-6-month-old male German shepherd, a 2-year-1 month-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, an 8-year-4-month-old male Labrador retriever, one male and one female 6-month-old Rottweiler-Australian cattle dog-blue healer crosses, a 3-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever and a 1-year-9-month-old female German shepherd -Australian cattle dog-blue healer cross. The shelter also has four 9-week-old and one 10-week old Rottweiler-Shepherd cross puppies.
