TIP of the Day: We’ll drink to that! Now that it is so hot, we should all keep water in our fridge. And we should drink water instead of all the sugary drinks. It is a much healthier choice and tastes great.

Our Silent Auction is Closed. After a long and hard-fought battle the drawing by Arlene Morgan of the old “Buttrey Home” has been won by Marilyn Thackeray. Way to go Marilyn. The proceeds from the auction will go to the Steam Table Fund.

Our Annual Fair Fund Raiser was a success for everyone. Proceeds are as follows: Friday Rummage Sale — $981.25, Saturday rummage Sale — $1,229.68 and Saturday Food Sales — $1,267.30. Expenses were $135.10. All Totaled after expenses we made $3,343.13. Thank you for all your hard work, Gwen, for organizing the fundraiser, Earlene, for all the food preparation, and to all our volunteers who contributed their time and hard work. We could not have done it without you.
