Torgerson's, a fourth-generation Montana farm implement business, recently provided new PAS Club jackets for Montana State University-Northern's Postsecondary Agricultural Students Club members.
The PAS Club is primarily made up of Northern students majoring in agriculture and/or agriculturally related fields. The club has 29 members, and they have been active this year in activities related to agriculture, campus promotion, individual growth, raising funds for the National PAS convention and in developing leadership skills.
"I am extremely proud of this group of young men and women who are engaging in agriculture and investing in themselves. Torgerson's obviously recognizes this group as our next generation of agriculturalists, and assisting them will help our country meet the future challenges of food production., said Tom Welch, an agriculture professor and co-advisor to the PAS Club, said,
Members of the PAS club said they are very appreciative to Torgerson's for providing the jackets, adding that it is an excellent example of the National PAS Organization's motto of "Uniting Education and Industry in Agriculture."
