The Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club's featured yard this week is at 1997 Rich St. - the home of Bill and Marilyn Henry.

This beautiful brick home sits on about an acre of well-manicured lawn. The front porch entry is adorned with four large hanging baskets of geraniums and petunias. A cute owl bench says "Welcome." At the door a rot iron planter of geraniums and petunias is very inviting.

At the base of the porch/entry is a raised brick flower bed of yellow marigolds and an array of single and double petunias of many colors. Bushes are planted at ground level to complement the flower bed.

As you walk around the house there are several rose bushes and peony bushes.

The backyard reveals a north-facing deck adorned with hanging baskets planted with rose and dragon winged begonias and German ivy, along with four large decorative pots of petunias, lantana and million belles. As the Henrys are enjoying a shady afternoon or evening on their deck they can also enjoy the view of their beautiful bricked-in vegetable garden and an apple tree loaded with fruit.

Many hours of love and hard work has been put in to this beautiful yard, and it is certainly worth a peek.
