Don was born on November 12, 1947, in Huntington Park, CA, to Vearl and Marjorie (Davis) Williams. He was raised in Huntington Park, graduating from high school there. Soon after, Don entered the U.S. Navy, and served aboard the USS Princeton until his honorable discharge in 1969. He married Francis Houle soon after, and she passed away several years ago.
Don worked as an insulation installer for many years before moving to Box Elder. While in Box Elder, he worked as a janitor at the Box Elder schools, and he loved being around the kids. He met Crystal Cabigas-Greer while there, and the couple remained together for some time before she, too, passed away. He retired from the school in 2017, and a few months ago, moved to Havre.
Don was a quiet man of habit, who loved to socialize at the Lone Tree in Box Elder and watch old Westerns on TV.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fran Williams; step daughter, Beverly Perry; parents Vearl and Marjorie Williams; and brother Rodney Williams.
Don is survived by his step-children, Cindy Hulse of Great Falls, and Denise and Mike Hulse of Big Sandy; sister Kathryn Valentine of La Habra, CA; nephew Del Dye of CA; niece Shawna Pilgrim of AR; and aunt Breezy Hardenbrook of CA.
