Havre Police Department

A First Street caller reported Friday at 12:41 p.m. that a white Ford Taurus backed into a green Mercury.

Officers were called to investigate a noninjury vehicle crash on 15th Street Friday at 8:13 p.m.

--

Dean Anthony Grant of Browning, 32, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller on 17th Street West reported people fighting at 7:01 a.m. Saturday.

--

Alyce Julialinda Lamotte of Havre, 27, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a 17th Street West caller asked to have an abusive woman removed from the residence Saturday at 8:11 a.m.

--

A Ford Avenue caller reported at 2:16 p.m. Friday a package had been taken from he porch.

--

Albert Kenneth Fisher of Havre, 77, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after an officer stopped on First Street to investigate suspicious activity at 10:44 p.m. Saturday.

--

Ryan Walker of Helena, 21, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue Saturday at 11:35 p.m.

--

Pamela Marie Stiffarm of Havre, 35, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after an officer on First Street offered assistance to a man and a woman on First Street at 2:06 a.m. Sunday.

--

Jacob James Bauer of Havre, 35, was issued a summons Sunday at 8 a.m. on charges of criminal contempt and violation of conditions of release related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

--

Michelle Rose Jiron of Havre, 27, was issued a summons Sunday at 8:01 a.m. on charges of criminal contempt and revocation of suspended or deferred sentence related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation in which she did not show up for her morning appointment.

--

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a pick up and hold order after a First Street business reported the juvenile Sunday at 8:38 a.m.

Jordan Michael Johnson of Fort Belknap, 38, was arrested on a state District Court warrant after an officer stopped Sunday at 12:01 p.m. to investigate suspicious activity on First Street.

Susan Roxanne Holt of Havre, 45, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a 12:12 p.m. Sunday report of a woman lying on the ground on Second Street.

--

Gary Lee Ferguson of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a charge of assault and four Justice or City court warrants after officers were called to assist a Rocky Boy Police officer at the hospital Sunday at 2:13 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

James Richard Lowrance of Havre, 27, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a caller reported Friday at 12:15 p.m. a man in a green pickup truck took a safety cone near a construction site on the viaduct.

Kayla Lucille Hawlwy of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice of City court warrant served Friday at 7:54 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

--

John Windyboy of Havre, 20, as arrested on a shoplifting charge after officers were called to a U.S. Highway 2 West business Sunday at 12:10 p.m.

--

Joshua James Arkinson of Havre, 33, was arrested after a 9th Street East caller reported Sunday at 3:12 p.m. her parents were saying something was crawling on them.

--

A Main Street Rudyard caller reported Sunday at 1:56 p.m. someone had broken into a garage.

--

Verlas Reylynne Chiefstick of Box Elder, 59, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants and a charge of probation violation and Selena Jean Valdez of Havre, 60, was arrested on a charge of probation violation after a Bitterroot Trailer Court caller reported Sunday at 8:45 p.m. that a woman tried to assault him.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Friday, three calls Saturday, eight calls Sunday and three calls today.

Firefighters responded to a call Friday at 9:20 p.m. on the 500 Block of First Avenue where a car was smoking, but no source of the smoke could be found. The car owners were advised to have the car checked for a mechanical issue.

Firefighters responded to two calls Saturday. A 9:51 a.m. fire alarm at a residence facility on the 10 Block of Third Street turned out to be a false alarm and the alarm was reset. And at 7:40 p.m. a lint in a dryer vent caught fire in a trailer house on the 1500 Block of Smithville Road. The fire was contained to the dryer, which was a loss.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held one medium-hair cat with sex listed as "unknown," four medium-hair male cats, one male long-hair cat, four female short-hair cats and three male short-hair cats.

The shelter also held this morning a 2-year-old female hound, a 2-year-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, a 23-week-old female pit bull-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-old male spaniel-pit bull terrier cross, a 9-month-old female pit bull terrier, a 3-year-old male Labrador retriever and a 1-year-old great Pyrenees.
