Havre Police Department

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported Tuesday at 3:09 p.m. that an item was stolen.

Keith James Green of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on charges of failure to notify owner of damage to property, failure to give notice of accident and reckless driving after a caller reported at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday an erratic driver in a white Chevrolet pickup truck on Montana Secondary Highway 234 and called right back to report the driver had hit some mailboxes.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Hill County Sheriff's Office had no arrests or investigations listed in the dispatch log.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Tuesday and three Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held one medium-hair cat with sex listed as "unknown," four medium-hair male cats, one male long-hair cat, one female short-hair cat and three male short-hair cats.

The shelter also held this morning a 2-year-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, a 14-week-old female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever cross, a 9-month-old female pit bull terrier and a 3-year-old male Labrador retriever.

A girl was born Monday, July 9, 2018, to Michele and Sundance Standing Rock of Box Elder.
