Brurud appointed to youth justice council

The office of Gov. Steve Bullock of Havre announced the governor appointed Tim Brurud of Havre to the Youth Justice Advisory Council, whose members are a cross-section of public and private employees who are working to prevent or reduce juvenile delinquency and improve the juvenile justice system.

Brurud is the club director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line, a nonprofit with special focus on preserving, strengthening families, parent groups and parent self-help groups, youth development, delinquency prevention and treatment, neglected or dependent children, the quality of juvenile justice, education and social services for children.
