Our fundraiser is right around the corner. We are collecting for our Summer Rummage Sale. If you have any closets or cabinets to clean out now is the time. Bring any and all donations to us here at the Senior Center. We are always very grateful for anything you bring to us.

We have a new update for everyone who has been so generously donating to our Steam Table Fund. At today’s prices we expect to have to pay about $10,000 and we have now received $7,962.65 in donated funds towards our goal. Thank you again. I know it won’t be long before we meet and complete our goal.

We will be holding a Silent Auction. A drawing by Arlene Morgan entitled “The Old Buttrey Home” has been donated to the Senior Center. A picture of the drawing can be seen on the Seniors Face Book page or you can stop down to see the drawing and put in your bid. The proceeds from this auction will go to the “Steam Table Fund.”

If Comodities could help, you are 60 years of age and if you meet the income requirements we now have slots available. Call the center or come down to pick up an application.

Just a reminder to keep watching for your new Medicare Card. You’ll get a new card in the mail with a new Medicare number that’s unique to you. This change will help keep your information more secure and help protect your identity. Make sure your mailing address is up to date. If your address needs to be corrected, contact Social Security. Be sure to use your new Medicare number when paying your Medicare premiums.
