A former Havreite and Montana State University-Northern graduate is now working for employee-owned civil engineering, planning and land surveying from RPA out of its Helena office.
Chris Fisher has started working as a construction engineer/technician II, RPA announced.
Fsiher holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering technology from Northern and is a certified concrete field testing technician. He owns chis own carpentry and construction business for nine years.
His experience includes work on a $10 million peer transmission substation and has utilized surveying equipment and created land maps using GPS as well as has managed inventory and materials during project construction phases.
At RPA, Fisher provides on-site quality control and monitoring of construction activities in conformance with project plans and specifications. He maintains records for as-built plans, keeps diaries of contractor's activities during construction, conducts and supervises quality control testing, prepares construction reports, conducts progress meetings, reviews applications for payments, administers the construction contract on-site, and acts as the owner's representative. He is working on the City of Bozeman Baxter Lane Improvements from North Seventh Avenue to North 19th Avenue project.
RPA is headquartered in Helena with offices in Kalispell and Bozeman.
