Burning Bike Rally to be held in Chester

Proceeds will benefit K9 Care Montana

The 2018 Burning Bike Rally, hosted by the Warrior Creed Veteran Motorcycle Club, will be held July 6-7 at The Roadhouse Bar in Chester to support K9 Care of Montana.

This is the third year of the rally, which will feature events such as a poker run, a dunking booth and a bike rodeo.

Food booths, live music, raffles and a silent auction also will be part of the weekend, but the highligh will be Saturday evening at dusk, when they will hold the bike burning, Warrior Creed member Ron "Warrior Chunks" Fanning said.

The burning will use a bike made out of wood and logs.

The event is free, but the money raised from the poker run, booths, raffles, 50/50 and auctions will be donated to the organization K9 Care Montana, which provides service dogs for veterans and children with autism, Fanning said, adding that the organization specifically works in Montana and all money will stay within the state.

The raffle will be held Saturday and people need not be present to win.

Raffle tickets are $10 each and participants have two chances to win, with first prize a Desert Tan Mac Tools four-drawer chest/cabinet combination and second prize an OD Green Mac Tools five-drawer utility cart.

People who want to buy a raffle ticket can purchase them at the Eagles Club, Spud's Grub Hut, Bullhook Bottoms Sports Bar and Casino, Havre Daily News or by messaging Fanning on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ronald.fanning.75/.

"Come out, have fun, donate money," Fanning added.
