United Way partner applications available

Nonprofits serving individuals in Hill County are eligible to apply for the 2019 United Way of Hill County year. Applications are available at the United Way office, 130 Fifth Avenue.

Application deadline is Friday, July 20.

Nonprofits are required to submit:

• Signed cover sheet

• Signed agency agreement

• Completed allocation of funds application

• Copy of IRS letter verifying current tax-exempt 501(c)3 status

• Printout showing active status with Montana secretary of state

• 2017 income/expense budget

• List of board of directors

• Additional information regarding your agency; such as newsletters, brochures, etc.

• Four copies of the application and four brochures, newsletters, and/or posters, etc.

United Way of Hill County started its one coordinated fundraising effort to mobilize resources for area nonprofits in 1971. Businesses, employees and community members find it easy and convenient to have one targeted effort and nonprofits can focus their efforts on their missions instead of raising money.

United Way has three universal goals — helping children achieve academic greatness, promoting financial stability and independence and helping families live healthier. All three are intertwined and together build a better community.
