Now that the temperatures are rising, we need to remember to drink plenty of water and try to stay cool.

Our fundraiser is right around the corner. We are collecting for our summer rummage sale. If you have any closets or cabinets to clean out now is the time. Bring any and all donations to us here at the Senior Center. We are always very grateful for anything you bring to us.

We will be holding a Silent Auction, a drawing by Arlene Morgan entitled “The Old Buttrey Home” has been donated to the Senior Center. A picture of the drawing can be seen on the Seniors Face Book page or you can stop down to see the drawing and put in your bid. The proceeds from this auction will go to the “Steam Table Fund”.

Don’t forget our Senior Gift Shop, we have a wonderful selection of greeting cards, up to the minute gifts along with some antiques for your shopping needs. Be sure to stop by and check us out. We know you will be pleased with both our selection and our prices.

Just a reminder to keep watching for your new Medicare card. You’ll get a new card in the mail with a new Medicare number that’s unique to you. This change will help keep your information more secure and help protect your identity. Make sure your mailing address is up to date. If your address needs to be corrected, contact Social Security. Be sure to use your new Medicare number when paying your Medicare premiums.
