Blue Pony wrestling standouts shine with Team Montana

Last weekend was a good one for a pair of Havre High wrestlers. Blue Ponies Lane Paulson and Connor Harris were both in competition for Team Montana over the weekend.

In Spokane, Harris wrestled in the National Cadet Dual Tournament, where he was excellent in Greco Roman, going 4-2, as well as freestyle, where he went 7-1.

Meanwhile, Paulson was in Idaho wrestling for a Montana squad in the Turf War National Dual freestyle Tournament. Paulson went 4-3 for Montana in the event.

Paulson will be a senior for HHS this year, and is a three-time Class A All-State performer. Harris is entering his junior year for the Blue Ponies, and was a Class A All-State standout this past winter.
