College News - Rutledge awarded Montana Farmers Union scholarship

  GREAT FALLS — Montana Farmers Union announced that Andrea Rutledge of Big Sandy was among this year’s scholarship recipients from the union.

MFU offered eight scholarships totaling $4,000. This year’s winners were selected because of their outstanding contributions to the organization as youth leaders.

“These students are excellent role models in their communities,” MFU President Alan Merrill said. “We are proud to have played a role in their success and wish them all the best.”

The scholarships awarded are:

• Rutledge received the John Korsbeck Memorial Scholarship

  • Alana Stephenson of Black Eagle received the John Korsbeck Memorial Scholarship and the Headquarters Local Scholarship.

  • Lauren Arnst of Fort Benton received the Bud Daniels Memorial Scholarship.

  • David Shane of Floweree received the Montana Farmers Union Scholarship.

  • Victoria (Tori) Girard of Great Falls received the Cascade County Farmers Union Scholarship

  • Violet Green of Great Falls received the Montana Farmers Union Scholarship

  • Lilly Green of Fort Benton received the Chouteau County Farmers Union Scholarship.
