Obituary - Mamie R. Swallow

Mamie R. Swallow, 97, passed away June 12, 2018, of natural causes at the Missouri River Medical Center in Fort Benton.

Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

  Mamie was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Spring Lake, MN, to William and Theresa (Mischke) Schwenke. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Aaron D. Swallow; an infant son in 1941; granddaughter Rhonda Swallow; parents, William and Theresa Schwenke; brothers, Henry and Herbert Schwenke; and sisters Dora Goodson, Louise Burke and Helen Norman.

She is survived by daughters, Laura (Art) Fanning of Farmington, WA, Janet (Pat) Roche, Council Bluffs, IA, and Judith Gebhardt of Fort Benton; son David (Linda) Swallow of Havre; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sisters Betty Munson of Havre and Lucille Hasler of Raton, NM.
