Havreite Pam Veis is returning to Fort Peck Summer Theatre with a role in the classic story of “Cabaret,” featuring a host of iconic songs.
The production continues Fort Peck Summer Theatre’s 49th season. Audiences can expect all the show-stopping musical numbers including “Razzle-Dazzle” from the Oscar winning movie starring Liza Minelli.
John Knispel, seen last season as Elvis in “Million Dollar Quartet” stars as The Emcee, alongside Michelle Chin and Jacob Nalley in the iconic roles of Sally Bowles and Clifford. The principle cast is rounded out by audience favorite Veis, who has had starring roles in several Fort Peck productions, James Rio, who played Don Quixote in the 2016 production of “Man of LaMancha,” David Hopson of Wolf Point and sixth-year company member Megan Wiltshire.
The high-kicking ensemble features Christen Etchart, Brittany Archambeault, Michaela Cathey, Rachel Lynn Pewitt, Meggie Siegrist, Jay Michael Roberts, Christopher Morucci, Jacob Herrera and Mathias Oliver.
The production is co-directed by FPST Artistic Director Andy Meyers and Heather Adams, who also provides Fosse-inspired choreography. The entire theater has been transformed into the Kit Kat Club, with vibrant designs by Jay Michael Roberts, Sarah Bell and Spencer Perry.
Performances of “Cabaret” are June 15 through July 1 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
