Havre Police Department

Sherman Dean Alexander Sr. of Box Elder, 56, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a First Street West business caller Thursday at 11:23 a.m. asked to have officers check on an intoxicated man whom they removed from the bathroom.

Denise Marie Friede of Havre, 43, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on Fifth Street requested Thursday at 2:47 p.m. a woman be removed from his property.

A Thursday 2:57 p.m. caller on First Street reported a vehicle break-in.

A bike was reported stolen on Sixth Avenue Thursday at 7:05 p.m.

Clay Allison Ray of Havre, 57, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence while an officer was investigating suspicious activity on First Street at 4:18 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The sheriff’s office reported no investigations, arrests or summonses issued.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday and one today.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held two medium-hair cats with sex listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 24-week-old male American Staffordshire Terrier, a 4-year-1-month-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-3-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross, an 18-week-old male Australian shepherd and a 26-week-old female Labrador retriever.
