Matthew James Brix of Havre, 44, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and Sean Lee Crittendon of Havre, 44, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Fifth Street Tuesday at 4:36 p.m.

After a caller at a Fifth Avenue business reported a man with a warrant Tuesday at 7:53 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle, in which the man was a passenger, on 12th Avenue at 7:58 p.m. The man fled and officers pursued but were unable to catch him. The man, Matthew Allen Bell of Havre, 36, was issued a summons on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. The driver of the vehicle was arrested during a 9:38 p.m. vehicle stop on 13th Street. Tia Francine Gardipee of Rocky Boy, 21, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance.

Christie M. Stump of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a Ninth Avenue business requested help from an officer today at 1:17 a.m.
Hill County Sheriff’s Office
Salvador Campos Rivera of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on three counts of violation of a protective order after a complaint was called in at 8:48 a.m. Tuesday.

Kenneth Lee Looksbehind of Box Elder, 48, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business called in a complaint Tuesday at 11:20 a.m.

Elizabeth Emmamain Barnes of Havre, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant issued Tuesday at 12:18 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Rodney Earl Mielke of Eugene, Washington, 57, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at the detention center Tuesday at 6:55 p.m.

Deputies provided help after two callers on 17th Street West Tuesday at 7:04 p.m. reported a bloody man walking down the street.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Tuesday and two this morning.

Fire crews responded to a Tuesday 2:45 p.m. report of a grass fire on the 400 Block of 12th Avenue. The fire was put out, but no cause could be detected.

Fire crews were called at 4 a.m. today to a fire on the 400 Block of Eighth Street where an electrical wire in a wall had overheated and started a stud on fire. Firefighters opened a hole in the wall and extinguished the fire. Minimal damage was caused to the structure.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the shelter held three medium-hair cats and one short-hair cat with sex listed as “unknown,” one medium-hair female cat, three medium-hair male cats, two female short-hair cats and one male short-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 23-week-old male American Staffordshire Terrier, a 4-year-1-month-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-3-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross, an 18-week-old male Australian shepherd and a 26-week-old female Labrador retriever.
