Senior Kenny Wilson is one of Havre High School's students of the month for April.
The son of Kenneth and Marlene Wilson, Kenny has three older siblings, Monique, 25, Austin, 29, and Riche, 30.
Kenny is a member of the Havre High bass choir, as well as Anime and Art clubs. Outside of the classroom, Kenny is a member of the Abundant Life Ministry, and he helps his parents and other family members on the farm. His hobbies include bowling, going to movies, drawing, crafts and riding bikes. He also enjoys spending time with his siblings and friends.
Kenny was nominated by Rachel Haug because he "tries his hardest in the classroom and works well with his peers." Haug said Kenny "enjoys telling jokes and puns to brighten people's day" and "will always help someone in need."
After high school, Kenny plans to help his family and maybe get a parttime job at Walmart.
Christian Mathis, a junior, is Havre High's other April student of the month.
The son of Tana and Brian Johnson, Christian has five siblings, Reese, 13, Laney, 15, Andrea, 16, Mitche, 17, and Brandi, 20.
Christian is a member of the Havre High swim team and has participated in school plays. Outside of school, Christian works at McDonald's and the Boys & Girls Club. His hobbies include running, sleeping, relaxing and watching Netflix and hanging out with family. He also enjoys taking car rides and listening to music.
Christian was nominated by Luke Thompson for "asking the tougher questions and constantly challenging his peers." Thompson said Christian is "passionate about life" and "will leave Havre High and do great things."
After high school, Christian plans to go to either Seattle or San Antonio for college, where he expects to go into law, medicine, or something else.
