Chinook's Lily Surber hits a backhand during last Thursday's opening day of the Northern B-C Divisional tennis tournament at the Bill Vaughey Memorial Tennis Courts in Havre. The meet featured Chinook, Chester-Joplin-Inverness and Harlem, and ran through Friday's championship matches. Surber Finished fourth in singles. Kendhal Knapton of CJI, Jamie Roth of Chinook and Shivell Norick of CJi were the top three. Chinook's Megan Pruttis and Sierra Swank finished first in doubles, followed by Aria Owens and Taeshon Schaeffer of Harlem and CJI's Katey and Khloe Kamerzell of CJI. Chinook win the team title with 38 points, CJI was second with 36 and Harlem was third with 16.
