Havre Police Department

An arrest was made Wednesday after an officer was flagged down by a woman on 15th Avenue at 7:48 a.m. Wednesday No details on the arrest were provided.

David Taylor Eagleman of Havre, 58, was arrested on charges of trespass to property after a Second Street caller reported Wednesday at 12:20 p.m. that a drunk man, who was warned earlier to stay away, was kicking the door to the caller’s residence.

A theft, forgery or fraud was investigated at the Havre Police Department Wednesday at 1:12 p.m.

A First Avenue caller reported at 1:23 p.m. Wednesday that someone went through her basement window earlier in the day.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at a Third Street facility asked to speak to an officer about vandalism to the building, Wednesday at 1;39 p.m.

A noninjury vehicle crash was reported at Fifth Avenue and Second Street Wednesday at 6:42 p.m.

Jacquline Colleen Chiefstick of Box Elder, 38, was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release after a caller at a Second Street business asked Wednesday at 7:03 p.m. to have a drunk woman removed from the business and called again at 7:50 p.m. to say that the woman had returned.

A caller at 3:47 this morning reported a group of kids were entering or trying to enter houses in the Highland Park area.

Hill County Sheriffs Office

Joseph Tyler Henderson of Havre, 25, was arrested on a Justice and City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 5:44 p.m.

A 17-year-old Box Elder girl was issued a summons on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Wednesday at 6:46 p.m. having a juvenile shoplifter in custody.

Treyton Reed Sutherland of Box Elder, 20, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Wednesday at 7:52 p.m. seeing a man who might have an outstanding warrant.

Wednesday at 8:40 p.m. a caller reported a small green pickup truck racing around on County Road 637.

Deputies provided assistance after a Box Elder caller reported at 12:24 a.m. today seeing a man laying in the grass alongside a road at Box Elder.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 500 Block of 18th Street Wednesday at 5:16 p.m., where a fire had gotten under the skirting of a trailer house. Citizens had worked to put the fire out and the fire crew helped finish the job. The fire was contained to the underside of the trailer and the dwelling was likely still livable.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held two medium-hair cats with sex listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair female cats, three medium-hair male cats and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 5-year-old male shih tzu, a 4-year-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 4-year-old female border terrier-terrier cross and a 1-year-2-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross.
