A First Street business caller reported Friday at 1:58 p.m. a room was broken into the previous night.

A caller reported a vehicle crash on Fifth Avenue Friday at 3:25 p.m.

Kim Allen Norquay Sr. of Hays, 59, was arrested on a charge of trespassing reported by a Fifth Avenue business caller Friday at 7:22 p.m.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported Friday at 7:41 p.m. hitting a deer.

——

Patrick Charles Zieman of Great Falls, 56, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and an open container in city violation after a Friday 8:44 p.m. caller reported two intoxicated people walking near First Street.

Garth Edward Elvbakken of Spokane Valley, Washington, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and driving without vehicle insurance, during a vehicle stop on First Street Friday at 11:34 p.m.

Nikolas John Keller of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, open container on highway and minor in possession after a McKinley Avenue caller reported suspicious activity Saturday at 1:48 a.m.

Jessica Lee Schweigert of Havre, 38, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a First Street business reported a woman shoplifting Saturday at 10:46 a.m.

Regina Therese Hindsley of Havre, 42, was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at the Armory Gymnasium reported a woman causing a disturbance Saturday at 12:09 p.m.

Dustin Paul Kessel of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on charges of shoplifting and a violation of conditions of release after an 11th Street West business caller reported Saturday at 12:35 p.m. that someone had stolen beer.

Clayton Gary Bailey of Big Sandy, 46, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and false reports to law enforcement after a Beaver Creek Road caller reported a man and a woman walking with a gun at 8:18 p.m. Saturday.

Katelyn Ilene Bouyer of Billings, 23, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a Saturday 11:43 p.m. call from Sixth Avenue of a domestic disturbance with multiple people.

Kyle Jay Rummel of Missoula, 29, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Sunday at 8:35 a.m.

Officers issued a summons on a Sunday 8:37 a.m. complaint at the police station, but no details were provided.

Raymond O’Claray of Havre, 39, was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI, careless driving, driving with an expired registration and open container in a vehicle on the highway after someone on First Street made a complaint Sunday at 8:49 a.m.

A Sunday 7:52 p.m. caller reported items missing from her Second Street house.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Carol Ivy Meyers of Havre, 56, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served Friday at 4:07 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Vandalism was reported at 8:11 a.m. Saturday at Box Elder School.

——

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 West asked Saturday at 6:34 p.m. to speak with a deputy.

Clayton Gary Bailey of Big Sandy, 46, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported two shoplifters Saturday at 6:58 p.m.

Keaton Todd John Kaul of Havre, 19, was issued a summons on a charge of driving without vehicle insurance after a caller in Beaver Creek Park reported a vehicle hot rodding Saturday at 8:42 p.m.

Samatt Hugh Topsky of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of violation of a protective order and partner or family member assault after a caller at a Box Elder establishment reported a disturbance Saturday at 9:39 p.m.

Colton Daniel Otto of Pine Haven Dr., Wyoming, 19, was arrested on charges of DUI and minor in possession after a Sunday 6:17 a.m. caller on 82 Avenue West reported a pickup in the ditch with a driver passed out inside.

A U.S. Highway 2 East caller requested assistance Sunday at 4:42 p.m. retrieving personal items.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, seven calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and one call today.

Fire crews responded to a report of a gas smell Saturday at 8:02 p.m. on the 500 Block of Fifth Street North. Neither firefighters nor NorthWestern Energy could detect a gas smell.

Fire crews responded to a report of smoke Sunday at 6:04 a.m. on the 100 Block of 9th Avenue and found a cigaret ash had fallen into an outside chair and had started smoldering.

——

Fire and NWE crews responded to a 2:51 p.m. Sunday call from the 1700 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northwest about a smell of burning electricity. NWE crews suspected a transformer.

——

Fire crews responded to a 5:39 p.m. call about a gas smell on the 600 Block of 10th Street and found a propane leak on a barbecuer.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held two medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats, two medium-hair female cats and two female short-hair cats.

The shelter held this morning a 4-year-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 4-year-old female border terrier-terrier cross and a 1-year-2-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross.
