We will be holding a silent auction, which will begin next week. A drawing by Arlene Morgan entitled “The Old Buttrey Home” has been donated to the Senior Center. A picture of the drawing can be seen on the Senior’s Facebook page or you can stop down to see the drawing and put in your bid. The proceeds from this auction will go to the steam table fund we have been working so hard to replace.
We have a new update for everyone who has been so generously donating to our steam table fund. At today’s prices we expect to have to pay about $10,000 and we have now received $6,952.65 in donated funds toward our goal. Who would have thought we would find so many gentle people willing to do so much good for others with no expectation of gain or recognition. Thank you, again. I know it won’t be long before we meet and complete our goal.
