Kevin Eldridge releases his bowling ball Wednesday afternoon at Harvest Moon Lanes bowling alley. Bowling was one of the events that is part of the Special Olympics Great Northern Area Games. While normally there is a track meet as part of the games, that meet was canceled due to the weather. The other events, including a dance and an award ceremony, were held Wednesday for the 54 athletes age 14 to 72 who were in attendance. The track athletes will be allowed to compete at the Special Olympics Montana state games in Great Falls May 15-18.
