Havre Police Department

Monday at 6:54 a.m. at the Havre Police Department, a summons was issued on a charge relating to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Brint Weston Mack of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia after a caller reported a disturbance with her brother Monday at 11:58 a.m. on Third Street.

Monday at 12:46 p.m. on Second Street officers investigated a vehicle crash after the caller reported a hit and run happened during the night.

Tara Alice Jordan of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant Monday at 12:57 p.m. on First Street.

Monday at 3:35 p.m. on Ninth Street, Jonahs James Demontiney of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation and criminal trespass to property.

Officers investigated a 12:06 a.m. report today of a fight in a Jefferson Avenue parking lot with seven or eight people and more coming out. A second caller reported that people were gathering around a white car that had bashed in windows.

Officers investigated a Tuesday 5:04 a.m. call from First Street West reporting a theft.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Tara Alice Jordan of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia Monday at 2:09 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Monday.

Fire crews responded to a 6:11 a.m. fire alarm today on the 10 Block of Third Street after food that was left on the stove smoked up an apartment. The fire department cleared the smoke and reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held four medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats, one medium-hair female cat, and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter held this morning a 1-year-6-month-old male Labrador retriever-pit bull terrier cross, a 10-month-old male Australian shepherd, a 1-year-old male boxer-pit bull terrier cross, a 4-year-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-2-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.

Birth Announcement

A boy was born Saturday, April 7, 2018, to Shannon J. Morin and Anthony J. McKay of Harlem.
