Havre Police Department

Officers made an arrest while serving a warrant Friday at 10:48 a.m. on Fourth Street. The jail roster lists Ariana Horn, who was named as the involved party, as being arrested on violation of conditions of release.

Christopher Allan Steiner of Havre, 32, was arrested on violation of federal warrants Friday at 12:43 p.m. on 12th Avenue.

A two-vehicle noninjury crash was investigated Friday at 2:34 p.m. on First Street.

Cecilia Eve Eagleman of Havre, 34, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants Friday at 3:58 p.m. on 15th Street West after the caller said she thought her daughter was getting beat up.

Officers made an arrest on First Street West Friday at 6:09 p.m. No further details were prvided.

Joshua David Rainingbird of Rocky Boy, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and violation of conditions of release on First Street Saturday at 3:29 p.m.

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:57 p.m. Saturday on Boulevard Avenue.

Sunday at 3:04 a.m. at Montana State Univeristy-Northern, Justin Hall, 27, of Heart Butte, Taylor Christine Mclain, 21, of Havre, Shaylea Tatsey, 24, of Havre, Tylor Vaile, 25, of Box Elder, Alan Kole Gobert, 22, of Browning and Peter Tatsey, 22, of Heart Butte were each issued a summons on a charge of unlawful transactions with children, Shane Bird Rattler, 20, and Justin Littleplume, 20, both of Browning and Morgan Boggs, 19, of Heart Butte, were each issued a summons on a charge of minorin possession, James Karl Andrew Heptner, 20, of Browning, was arrested on charges of MIP and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Animal Control was called to investigate a deer stuck in a fence Sunday at 11:03 a.m. on Wilson Avenue. The deer was out of the fence but was still near the yard.

Andrew Henson of Havre, 39, was arrested on charges of violation of protective order after a complaint on Boulevard Avenue at 11:22 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday at 5:38 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue, Sherman Dean Alexander Sr. of Box Elder, 55, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Larae Danita Hughes of Havre, 42, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting at 2:30 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Saturday at 2:16 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop at Old Post Road and 24th Avenue West, Brauk Irvin Wood of Havre, 21, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant.

Desirea Lee Writingbird of Rocky Boy, 37 was arrested on charges of misdemeanor Justice or City court warrants Saturday at 4:11 a.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Rochelle Marie Hopkins of Harlem, 47, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and Charnell Lynn Stump of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 at 8:24 p.m. Saturday.

Sunday at 12:25 a.m. during a vehicle stop at First Street and 16th Avenue, Charles Edward Daulton of Havre, 53, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, intoxication by drugs or alcohol, stop sign violation, and improper left turn.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls on Saturday and one call on Sunday.

Fire crews responded to a 4:49 a.m. Saturday call to the 20 Block of Third Street for a fire alarm. The fire alarm went off due to cooking smoke. The fire department reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held four medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats, one medium-hair female cat, and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter held this morning a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug cross, a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-6-month-old male Labrador retriever-pit bull terrier cross, a 10-month-old male Australian shepherd and a 1-year-old male Boxer-pit bull terrier cross.

Birth Announcement

A boy was born Saturday, April 7, 2018, to Malia and Evan Hinebauch of Havre.
