Sharon Patacsil was selected as one of February’s students of the month at Rocky Boy Junior High School. Nominating staff said Sharon is very out-going and excels in and out of the classroom. Sharon has a very creative spirit about her. She is not afraid to be her own person and have her own opinions and incites. It has been a pleasure having her in class so far. Keep up the great work Sharon.
Tyrese SunChild is the other Junior High February student of the month. Staff said Tyrel excels in and out of the classroom and is always willing to help others. He has a very easygoing attitude and great sense of humor. It has been a pleasure having him in class. Keep up the great work Tyrese.
Alex Day Child, a freshman at Rocky Boy High School, was selected as one of the school’s February students of the month. Alex is the son of Trisha Day Child. He has an exuberant personality and a love for being in the mix of anything happening at the school. Alex is a frequent volunteer for the school’s Helping Hands Weekend Backpack Program. He can be found on Fridays packing bags with essentials and delivering them to classmates all over the K-12 campus. He is a helpful and active student. Asking questions is one of Alex’s best traits. With his energy and support, Alex has a great high school career ahead of him.
Naomi Day Child, a Rocky Boy High School freshman, is the other February student of the month at the high school. Naomi is the daughter of Henry and Seneca Day Child. She is an honor roll student who is also a top student athlete. Playing on both the junior varsity and varsity basketball rosters, this Morning Star helped make school history by becoming district champs, divisional champs, and making it to the state tournaments. You can find Naomi in the library working diligently on her Algebra I homework and staying late to participate in extracurricular activities. With such a successful first year, we are looking forward to what the future holds for this bright young woman.
