Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash reported on First Street West Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.

Officers investigated a vehicle crash reported Wednesday at 2:59 p.m. at 13th Street and Hidden Valley Drive.

Officers investigated a Wednesday 3:16 p.m. report of a fake $50 bill passed at a First Street West business.

Cordale Cheyenne Beard of Havre, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of minor in possession after a First Street Northeast caller reported underage drinkers at 8:49 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Matthew Ryan Payne of Great Falls, 20, was arrested on a Justice of City court warrant Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. at the detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday and one at midnight.

Fire crews responded to the 2200 Block of Fifth Avenue after someone doing some digging work reported a broken gas line. NorthWestern Energy crews also responded and found that the line had already been abandoned.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held six medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” one medium-hair male cat, and one male short-hair cat.

The shelter held this morning a 1-year-3-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug cross, an 8-month-old female German shepherd, a 6-year-1-month-old female Labrador retriever and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.
