Havre Police Department

Michelle Rose Jiron of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of criminal contempt and no insurance on owner’s vehicle in relation to a 24-7 Sobriety Program violation Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the police station.

Three arrests were made after a 17th Street West caller reported Tuesday at 2:25 p.m. that two men were trying to kick in her door, but no details were provided about the arrests.

Officers investigated after a 19th Street caller reported Tuesday at 6:51 p.m. that a lawn decoration was stolen.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

William Ray Snell of Dodson, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Tuesday at 2:51 p.m. at the detention center.

Aaryn Jace Cantrell of Havre, 18, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday having a shoplifter in the office.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical crews responded to four calls Tuesday, and fire crews responded to a call on the 400 Block of First Avenue.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held 10 medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” one medium-hair male cat, and two short-hair cats, one male and one female.

The shelter held this morning a 4-year-old male Australian shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 1-year-3-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug cross, an 8-month-old female German shepherd, a 6-year-1-month-old female Labrador retriever and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.
