Quick Pics: A multi-school choral celebration

Middle schoolers from Havre, Shelby, Chinook and Turner sing Monday evening as guest conductor Angela Pratt leads them in songs that they spent the day practicing. From 9 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon the students practiced under her supervision, learning various warm-up exercises and new techniques that they were able to showcase to parents and siblings later that day. The songs that they sang ranged from the upbeat "Beyond the Sea" to a foreign one "Durme, Durme" which is a folk song with Judeo-Spanish roots.
