Plant a Seed...READ! was one of five programs around the state that won the 2017 Montana Center for the Book Prize. Winners receive $1,000 and have their events promoted by Humanities Montana which is a nonprofit founded in 1972 to provide support to public humanities programs across Montana. The award was presented during the annual Breakfast for Literacy fundraiser and celebration, which kicks off the fundraising season for the local Plant a Seed...READ!
